Moving is the one moment when everything you own passes through your hands. It's the easiest time to be honest about what deserves a place in the new house, and the most expensive time not to be.
Letting go of the dead weight means fewer boxes, a cheaper removals bill and a new home that doesn't feel cluttered within a fortnight. It also means unpacking day runs dramatically faster, because everything arrives already sorted into categories.
What a declutter day includes
- A thorough edit of your possessions, room by room
- Items grouped into categories that inform how they're packed and unpacked
- Lofts, garages and utility spaces into clear, labelled containers
- A plan for what's being donated, sold or passed on
- Charity collection suggestions (we don't clear rubbish ourselves)

What we don't do
- We don't pack. That's a job for your removals team
- We don't move furniture or drive the van
- We don't clear rubbish, though we'll point you to charity collections
We work alongside the removals company of your choice, and we're happy to recommend one.
Do you pack?+
We don't offer a packing service; that's a job for your removals team. We do categorise your belongings during the decluttering stage, so the boxes that get packed are organised and clear.
Do we need to be at home while you work?+
Entirely up to you. We can work around a full household, or happily get on with it if you can't be there. For decluttering we do recommend you join us for at least an hour, as a few decisions from you make all the difference.
Do you clear rubbish?+
We don't clear rubbish, but we'll point you in the right direction and suggest charity collections.
How much will I have to get rid of?+
That's completely up to you. If you're moving somewhere larger you may barely need to edit at all. Nothing is ever thrown out without your go-ahead.
