What a removals company does
A removals team protects, loads, transports and unloads your belongings, then places the boxes and furniture in the rooms you have labelled. They are specialists in moving things safely from one address to another, and a good firm is worth every penny of their fee.

What happens after the van leaves
The removals team finishes when everything is inside and the boxes are stacked. That is the moment most families underestimate. The house is full of cardboard, nothing is where it belongs, the kitchen cannot be used, and nobody has a made bed. Working through it yourself usually takes evenings and weekends over one to three weeks, while you are also starting work, school or a new routine.
What an unpacking team does
We arrive after the removals team, usually the day after your move, and unpack every room. The kitchen is set up around how you cook, wardrobes are hung and organised, bathrooms and children's rooms are put together, and the beds are made so it feels like home from the first night. All packaging and empty boxes are flattened, stacked and ready for collection.

Do you need both in Ascot or Sunningdale?
Many local moves involve long drives, private roads, gated access and estate rules that slow the day down. If your removals crew is delayed by access, the unpacking is the part that gets pushed into your own time. Booking both means the transport is handled by one team and the settling in by another, with neither rushing the other.

What it costs
