  • How long does it take to declutter a house?

    There isn’t a set time for how long it will take to declutter a house. Decluttering a home is a variable process which can take longer depending on the amount of possessions someone has, as well as the expertise of the declutterers. The size of the home and the number of years they’ve lived in it can also be factors. 

  • Why is it hard to declutter?

    Many people struggle when decluttering their home for a few reasons. Firstly, it’s natural to get attached to the things we own for no other reason than the fact we own them. We may also derive a sense of identity or comfort from our possessions which makes us keep hold of them. Finally, many objects have a sentimental value.

  • Do I need to be there while you declutter?

    This is entirely up to you, however it’s best that we work with you for at least an hour. This is so we can achieve the best results possible when preparing your item inventory for the big move.

  • How much will I have to get rid of when decluttering?

    The scope of decluttering services will vary from case to case depending on the exact situation. For example, if your current house is cluttered but you’re moving to a much larger home, you might only need to get rid of a small amount. Whereas cases that require extreme decluttering will result in many items being.

  • Do you clear rubbish?

    We don’t clear rubbish but we can point you in the right direction and suggests charity collections too. 

  • Do you pack?

    We don’t offer a packing service, this is a job for the removals team of your choice. However, we categorise your things during the decluttering process so that packed boxes are organised and clear ready for the big day. We can then link up with your removals team to unpack on the day of your move.
