Our aim is always to unpack your belongings within a day - but in larger properties, this is sometimes a little ambitious! We are mindful that you want to relax and enjoy your new home as quickly as possible, but also take the time to place items carefully and create organised systems. We discuss which areas of your home are the priority and start with those to ensure a stress-free experience.

What is the difference between Your Moving Day & a removals service?
The removals company of your choice will pack, move & place furniture and boxes in your new home. Some removals companies offer an unpacking service, where they will lift items out of boxes and place them onto surfaces and sometimes inside cupboards. Whilst this is useful to get rid of the cardboard, our unpacking service goes beyond simply lifting and placing. Our team bring the feminine touch to unpack your belongings carefully, with care and attention to organisation and your preferences. How much does your unpacking service cost?
Our packages vary depending on the size of the property and the volume of possessions, which we will assess when we have a consultation with you. Prices start from £1899 (inclusive of all taxes).

Can't I just unpack myself?
Unpacking is a huge, physically demanding task and stress levels can be high on moving day. In the rush to be out of boxes, items are often unpacked in a less-than-ideal way and end up staying there for years. When you book Your Moving Day, we take care of unpacking with optimal organisation so that your new home works for you from day one. We work quickly and efficiently to ensure the easiest moving day experience. You can focus on settling in to your new surroundings without added stress.

Are there any items or areas which aren't covered by the unpacking service?
As a general rule, we don't unpack garages and lofts. However, we can prep these areas as part of your tailored moving package, and always advise that these areas are packed into clear, labelled, stackable boxes so that minimal work is needed at your new home.

How far in advance do I need to book Your Moving Day?
The further in advance you can contact us, the better. We offer moving preparation services such as decluttering which will ensure that your whole move is seamless. However, we will always try to accommodate bookings if we have the availability!
